Turkey Trot Blog Hop

Happy Thanksgiving!

I wanted to tell you about something I'm thankful for. That would be my family. I treasure them more than anything on this earth. My husband is so supportive of my writing. He's amazing. Even to the point of saying he'll fix supper sometimes, when he's worked all day, just so I can continue to write or edit. What a sweetheart. And my parents and siblings are supportive as well. They make me feel like I can do anything!

In light of being thankful, I'd like to give something to one of you! The winner will receive an ebook of mine - any of my current books. All you have to do is leave a comment below about why you're thankful for something. That's it!

And, as part of this blog hop, one lucky winner will receive a $50 Amazon gift card. But you have to comment! Visit all the sites (click the links below) on the hop and comment there too, for a better chance at winning.

Writing like crazy!

I know I haven't posted for a while, but it's for a great reason!

I've been busy writing new cozy mysteries. Two are completely done and I'm working on their sequels right now. In keeping with my contemporary romances and historicals, they're quirky and funny.

See? a great reason :)

Below is a picture of one of my editors, hard at work while she supervises my writing. Believe me, my three furry editors are tough!!

Time for a Duke - Regency/Time Travel

Izzy Hodgkin just wants her vacation to London, England, to be an adventure. Who knew that involved being locked in a closet only to find it’s 1812 when the door is opened by a handsome duke?

Thrust into a life she didn’t ask for, Izzy struggles to come to terms with the fact she might be stuck in another century. There doesn’t seem to be an instructional manual for the rules of time travel. Everything is foreign. Clothes, accents, customs. For a girl from modern America, being told that women aren’t equal to men is hard to take. Although it does help that the duke, Charles, is the most gorgeous creature Izzy has ever seen.

Will Izzy stick with her plan to attempt to return to present day America to achieve her goal of financial independence? Or will she and Charles find happiness in 1812?
